First photo shoot!

My dear friend who took my maternity pictures offered to take newborn pictures as well. They turned out so well and I'm in the process of getting my announcements made using more of them. I'll post that when I get them done. I love this little angel. I am the luckiest mommy in the world to have her in my life. She is only two months old and when I look at these photos I wonder where all the time has gone. It's going by....just...too...fast!

PIE...at six weeks!

It took us a long time to come up with a name for this little girl so we called her "pie" until we were set on a name. I still do it but now I call her "sweetie pie" or "cutie pie", because she is...

My trip to Utah

Summer and I went to Utah last week for my cousin, Megan's wedding. This was Summer's very first trip and airplane ride and I have to say she is an awesome little traveler. We were gone for 5 days and Brent played Superdad while I was gone. Thank you so much for making it possible for me to go.

One of the most amazing families in the world and I am lucky to be related to them: Rod, Barbara, Nick, Megan, Kimi, and Jenna. When I grow up...I want to be just like Barb!!!

Megan and I have a bond. I use to take care of her when she was little. She used to call me "Lala." I'm so happy I could be there with her on her wedding day. Love you Meg!

What a great trip this was. It was nice to be with my side of the family and enjoy the company of Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and of course, My mom and Carl. I was even able to visit with Brent's sister, Melody and I had so much fun introducing Summer to everyone. I come from a good family who I love very much.

My dear friend, Liz had all us girls over for lunch. She is moving to Utah and this was her way of saying "Thank you" for being such good friends. This was also the same day Brooke brought Spencer home from the hospital after being born at 25 weeks back in January. Welcome Spencer!

At Summer's one month Dr. visit she weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz. She also had a bad case of baby acne. I was going to get her blessing pictures taken but had to postpone because it was so bad. That is OK though since we aren't blessing her until beginning of June anyway.
