It's almost time!

Here's the update: I have 5 weeks left. I am scheduled to be induced Wednesday, March 31, 2010. I am sooo excited because this will be the first time I have a baby early! It's only 2 days early but hey, Hannah was 7 days overdue and Danielle was 5 days over. I cannot do that again!! Actually, I have a feeling I won't even make it to the 31st. All along this pregnancy has been different from the others and I have experienced pains and contractions that I haven't had before either. I will be shocked if I do go that long! I have to get so much done and I'm at the stage that it hurts to move around too much. I have the nursery all done (mostly) and I want to post pictures but my sweet family has lost our camera, so...until I find it, I can't post any pictures. I'm desperate as Danielle's birthday party is on Saturday. Can you believe my baby is going to be 6?

32 1/2 weeks!

Two weeks ago I went to my Dr. for my check-up and told her how panicked I had been thinking that this baby was going to turn out to be a BOY. (I'm almost completely done with the nursery and if it was a boy I was in big trouble since there is no way of fixing it without re-doing everything!) She was so nice and said she would take a look to ease my mind. During that ultrasound, we came to find out that the baby was Breech and that she couldn't tell because it was sitting right up against the uterine wall. She said she couldn't see any boy parts so she still thinks it probably is a girl. The thought of having a baby born cesarean scared me a little and was worried going in today for my appointment that she still hadn't turned. LUCKILY, she did! She was going crazy while at the appointment and kicking up a storm right around my ribs. The Dr. said she definately felt a hard head down low so I'm relieved that I don't have to worry about that anymore...as long as everything turns out OK at delivery. Anyway, we talked about my history and when I go into labor and as most of you know, I go over my due date and my body doesn't go into labor on its own anyway. We talked about having an "elective induction" and that she would be willing to deliver as early as 39 weeks. So we may possibly have another March baby! If so, I only have 6 1/2 weeks to go! Or 46 days! But whose counting?!!!

Danielle's new hair-do!

After years of crying about her curly hair and refusing to have any type of clip, hairbow, ponytails, etc. Danielle and I decided to cut all of her hair off. She wanted it above her chin but I thought that was too short so we compromised and cut it really short in the back (it's stacked) and to her chin in the front. The crying has been minimal (she will let me straighten the front that is still curly) and she just looks too cute in this sassy new hairstyle! She's too young to care so much about her looks isn't she?

Hello Orthodontic world!

Hannah got expanders this past week to widen her mouth due to overcrowding...she got this trait from her Mother! She needs expanding on both upper and lower teeth and she has been a good sport about it overall. She is having a hard time with not being able to eat everything she is use to eating. But it will be worth it I keep telling her.

Summer's Quilt

During each of my pregnancy's, I've made a tie quilt. Usually I do it during my 1st trimester while I'm still skinny and can move around more easily but this time I wanted to find out what we were having and then time got away from me and now I'm HUGE! It wasn't easy but, here it is. The finished project is sooo cute!

At 30 weeks...can you tell?

...who has gained more weight? That would be my sister, Charlotte. (But only by a couple pounds.) She and I are due one week apart (I'm due first) and this is our 2nd time being pregnant at the same time. The last time was 10 years ago with our first babies. This post is mainly for our Mom and Aunts to see us since we both live here in Texas and they don't get to see us or our bellies much. It has been so fun to share this with her...again!!!

Sorry for the picture quality...kids fingerprints on the lens...not good!
