We spent another full day at the airport on Wednesday. The only way we were going to get seats was to break up and send Hannah alone. I was surprised that she wasn't nervous at all. In fact, it made her feel so grown-up. It was nerve-wracking to send my 9 year old on an airplane across country with hopes of someone on the other end to get her. I got a call a few hours later from someone who said they were holding her for ransom. Luckily it was my Mom who had her and to tell me she was safe! What a relief! Danielle and I did get seats on the very last flight of the day so I was happy to finally be on our way! As I was staring out the window of the airplane I noticed the Mountains that I have missed so much. They seemed bigger than usual. What an amazing world we live in!

Laura - I feel your pain. I've flown standby with kids (and a nursing baby). It's so stressful! I'm glad you finally made it to Utah. And I see the baby ticker in the corner --- congratulations!!! Tell me more... :)
What is this baby ticker in the corner that I am seeing? Congratulations!!!!
I'm glad you FINALLY made it! AND CONGRATS ON THE BABY!!! I hope your pregnancy goes well. When is your due date? :)
Whhhahaaatttt! Good thing I started looking at blogs again. Congrats! Can I spread the news?! You weren't supposed to announce it just before you leave. We want to congratulate you. You know, I flew alone for the first time to my gp when I was 9. I bet Hannah loved it!
I actually found out the day I arrived in Utah. I'm sure the news is spreading already just from my blog but I haven't told anyone except for family members and Rene. I just couldn't resist putting the ticker on so I could see what was going on inside me and to give my trusty readers a real shock! I am due April 2. Thank you for being happy for us, we sure are EXCITED!
Glad you made it to UT (finally!). Congrats on your pregnancy - we're sooooo very excited for you.
We are so happy for you!! I'm not a blogger so I was happy for a tip to check it out. I am so excited for you and hope things go perfectly!
